Mayor's Message
It is with great pride that I announce the successful complettion of the ambitious Citizens Portal under the E-Governance initiative of the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai. This project was developed under the stewardship of the Project Management Task Force chaired by Shri. Shree Kant Singh (Additional Municipal Commissioner) and comprised senior MCGM officials. I am very happy to dedicate this project to the service of the citizens of Mumbai as it will enhance the efficiency of the working of the Corporation, make it even more transparent and save valuable time of the citizens.

The information currently residing in various offices across Mumbai has been consolidated and 550 locations have been connected to make use of all this information. All the sources of revenue as well as expenditure have been computerized. The resulting process efficiency and fiscal discipline is bound to enhance the image of the city in national and international circles. Services like online processing of licences and certificates will be available to citizens at the touch of a button. This is just the beginning; as Mayor of Mumbai I request the citizens of Mumbai to give inputs to make these services more efficient.
