The Garden & Trees Department is an Administrative Department of MCGM that issues various Permits in consultation with and advice from other technical advisory departments like Fire Brigade, Maintenance, Engineering Department etc. In view of this, it is necessary to obtain required Permit from Garden & Trees department before starting any activities such as Permissions including Tree cutting/trimming, beautification of garden Saaf Aangan Scheme, Religious Permissions, Social Permissions, Political Permissions, Election Permissions, Shooting Permissions & Sports in playground that fall under this category.

Application for issuing Permission on Municipal Gardens & Playgrounds for Category:
  1. Religious Permission Checklist
  2. Social Permission Checklist
  3. Political Permission Checklist
  4. Election Permission Checklist
  5. Shooting Permission Checklist
  6. Sports Permission
 • Beautification of Footpath - "Saaf Aangan" Permit Checklist
 • Renewal of "Saaf Aangan" Permit Checklist
 • Permission to cut a tree / branches of a tree Checklist

Approving Authority Horticulture Assistant / Assistant Engineer Maintenance for permission, Beautification & its renewal.
For Tree cutting – ASG & SG need to approve
Processing Duration Seven days (per scrutiny level) for all other applications from the date of submission of valid application along with required documents.
Appliation Scrutiny LevelsSingle level for Religious / Social / Political / Election / Shooting / Sports - Permission
Two levels scrutiny for all other applications

Fees Applicable
Scrutiny/Permit Fee payable at the time of submission of New Application/Permits
Schedule Fee payable after approval of application by the competent authority
